1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using MiraNote, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. Not a Substitute for Therapy
MiraNote is a CBT self-help tool designed for personal reflection and wellbeing. It is not a medical device, clinical service, or substitute for professional mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or are in danger, please contact a qualified mental health professional or emergency services immediately.
3. Use of the App
MiraNote is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. You must not: reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app; use the app for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or network connected to the app.
4. User Content
Your journal entries and thought records belong to you. By using MiraNote, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your personal content for any other purpose.
5. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms and Conditions, with or without notice.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
MiraNote is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about uptime, the accuracy of AI-generated analysis, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use the app at your own discretion.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MiraNote and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of MiraNote after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Pakistan.
