Delete your account

You can delete your MiraNote account at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes your thought records and your profile — this cannot be undone, and we cannot recover your entries afterwards.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

1. Open MiraNote and go to your profile
2. Tap Account, then Manage account
3. Tap Delete account
4. Tell us why you're leaving, then confirm

If you're asked to sign in again first, that's a security check — sign out, sign back in, and repeat the steps.

Request deletion by email

If you've already removed the app or can't sign in, email maikhokharli@gmail.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request, sent from the email address on your MiraNote account. We'll confirm your identity, delete the account, and write back to confirm within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Every thought record you've saved — the situation, your automatic thought, emotions and intensity ratings, body sensations, cognitive distortions, evidence, reframes, and any AI insight generated from them
• Your profile, including your name and your streak history
• Your sign-in account and the email address attached to it

Once this is done, we no longer hold anything you wrote in the app.

What we keep, and for how long

• Why you left. If you delete from inside the app, the reasons you selected and any comment you wrote are kept so we can improve MiraNote.
• Purchase records. Subscription and payment records are held by Apple and Google, and we keep our own record of them for as long as tax and accounting law requires. These contain no thought records.
• Anonymous usage statistics. Aggregated, non-identifying counts — such as how many thought records were completed in a week — remain in our analytics. They cannot be traced back to you.
• Error reports. Crash and performance diagnostics are retained on a rolling 90-day window and then deleted automatically.

Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not cancel a MiraNote Pro subscription — Apple and Google handle billing, and only they can stop it. Cancel through Google Play → Subscriptions or Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions before deleting your account, or you may continue to be charged.
