1. What We Collect
When you use MiraNote we collect: your email address (used for authentication), the journal entries and thought records you create within the app, and basic anonymous usage analytics via Firebase Analytics (screens visited, features used — no personally identifiable information is included in analytics).
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide the features of the app, sync your entries across devices, and improve the product over time. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, ever.
3. Firebase & Third Parties
Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase — Firestore for journal entries and thought records, and Firebase Authentication for account management. Firebase is governed by Google's Privacy Policy . We do not share your data with any other third parties.
4. Data Security
All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit via TLS. Data at rest is protected by Firebase's default storage encryption. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months.
6. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data, or a copy of your personal data (data portability), at any time by contacting us at maikhokharli@gmail.com . We will process your request within 30 days.
7. Children
MiraNote is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of MiraNote after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
